Almost forgot:

I GOT A CARRR!!! For those of you who are like "yea, so?" I haven't had a car since January 15. I was in a horrible car accident (we were t-boned) and my car was totalled. So... this is exceptionally exciting for me!!! (Oh and we weren't hurt to badly, I bruised my femur... Zack was fine thank God!)
It's a 1997 Mercury Sable GS Station Wagon. This is excellent because I got a $3500 car for $1000, and it has remote start! How do we live without remote start... lol
YAYYYY

Sooooo... blogger is being a *****bag, so It won't let me post pics of the new wagon. Will post them soon!

Pattern Testing!!

Yay! The new pattern is all written, and I have gotten an impartial outsider's opinion that it's probably good enough to sell! Right now I am testing the pattern, and so is my new friend: http://www.ravelry.com/people/nic2always!
If you're interested let me know! (it's a big pattern 115 stitches by 113 rows).
So.. does anyone read this yet?

New Pattern!

So, it's ... oh I think 10 hours later. I wrote a new pattern tonight, but I'm not going to be posting it yet. This will be my endeavor into "difficult" pattern writing. IE: more than hats and wristies. It's a Celtic inspired bag, but that's all I'm going to say yet! Hopefully, it will be good enough to sell. That's where YOU come in. Keep reading my blog, tell me what patterns you want me to write!!

(does anyone read this thing?)
Love yas!

Not today darling....

No new patterns today! Sorry, just wasn't "in the flow" today. I am working on a pattern, but it's hush hush top secret! Plus... I haven't really started it yet. Today was a ... meh day. People keep asking what's wrong and it's like nothing exactly. I just feel like being a bitch, so stop asking me fuckin questions. I miss my boyfriend, I miss having a car, I miss pretending to have a life by virtue of the fact that I have a car. Meh, I just don't care enough lol. I want to buy the kiddo a wagon, but yea, that'll happen when I win the lottery. So how's everyone else doin?

Extremely, Stupidly Easy Wristers

This is the other pattern I recently wrote. If it gets any simpler I think you could just knit rows over and over. But it turns out a nice pattern with the yarn I used!

Supplies:
1 skein Sunshine Print Red Heart Super Saver
US 3 DPNs
Yarn needle

CO 38 stitches evenly on 3 DPNs (12, 14, 12). Join to begin working in the round, do not twist stitches!
Knit straight until 5.8 inches long. (You can always go with 6- I'm impatient)
RD: Bind Off 8 stitches
RD: CO 8 stitches
(this creates an opening for your thumb)
Continue to knit until work measures 7.5 (or 8... or 7)
Bind off. Using yarn needle, weave in ends!

Hope you like this one!!! Soon I'll attempt some difficult patterns!

Yarn Stash Hat

Ok, so I wrote this pattern mostly to waste some leftover yarn. Then I decided to re-write it in toddler size. Then I thought it was pretty cute, because now my son and his daddy have matching hats!
I'm going to put the yarn I used under the supplies, but feel free to use your own yarns! (Toddler sizes in parentheses)

Supplies:
Bernat Soft Boucle, Black, 1/2 skein
Size 11 DPNs
Yarn needle

CO 72 (36) stitches evenly through 4 DPNs. 18, 18, 18, 18 (9, 9, 9, 9)
Being careful not to twist, place marker if desired
Rd 1-10: Knit
Rd 11: ^k8, inc 1, repeat from^(total stitches will be 81 or 40)
Rd 12 - 52: Knit
Rd 53: ^k7, k2tog, rep from^
Rd 54: ^k6, k2tog, rep from^
Rd 55: ^k5, k2tog, rep from^
Rd 56: ^k4, k2tog, rep from^
Rd 57: ^k3, k2tog, rep from^
Rd 58: ^k2tog, rep from^
Rd 59: Knit
Leaving a long tail, cut yarn. Run remaining yarn through remaining stitches and pull tight. Close off hole with extra yarn.

I know it's very simple, but I've just started writing patterns! I hope you have as much fun as I did!
